Ocular Surface & Corneal Diseases

The Corneal & Ocular Surface Disease department comprises a team of XX specialists expertised in the diagnosis and treatment of the disorders of the corneal, the ocular surface as well as the anterior segment of the eye. The department was the first to carry out corneal transplantation combined with anterior and posterior segment reconstruction in Fujian province. We are equipped with a series of world-standard instruments, such as dry eye testing machine, corneal topography, corneal endothelial microscope, and anterior segment OCT. More than 3 thousands of surgeries were performed annually by our specialsts. We are at the leading level in some arenas throughout the whole country, such as the surgical treatment of dry eye, severe chemical/thermal burns, and severe ocular surface infections. Besides drug therapy, we provide surgical interventions to manage corneal and ocular surface diseases, including:
