CLINICAL SERVICES-OCULAR PLASTICS

INTRODUCTION: WHO WE ARE

The oculoplastic department manages abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal (tear) system and the orbit. The department comprises a team of 6 specialists.

We provide oculoplastic services to treat ocular disorders as below:

1. Cosmetic oculo-facial plastic surgery

1) Eyelid:

Ptosis, eyelid recession, epicanthus, microblepharia, inner canthus deformity, entropion, ectropion, cicatricial eyelid deformity, eyelid dysraphism, eyelid coloboma, symblepharon, eyebrow & eyelash deformity, foldless eyelid and pouch.

2) Conjunctiva:

Conjunctival sac coarctation and symblepharon.

2. Diseases & disorders of the orbit

Renovation of orbital fracture deformity, rectification of enophthalmos and implantation of hydroxyapatite artificial globe.

3. Diseases & disorders of the lacrimal canaliculus

Imperforate puncta, obstruction of the canaliculus and nasolacrimal duct, acute and chronic dacryocystitis, laceration of lacrimal canaliculus, and reconstruction of lacrimal canaliculus.
