The Vitreo-retinal diseases Department was among the first to carry out vitreo-retinal surgeries in Fujian province. The department is equipped with advanced surgical machines and instruments. Specialists in our department performed about 1,500 vitreo-retinal microsurgeries every year. We were also the first to set up diabetic eye disease clinc in Fujian province.. Beside surgical management, we perform PDT of the choroidal neovascularization patents. We are experienced in the the treatment of optic nerve disease, uveitis, retinal vascular occlusion, etc.

• -Vitreo-retinal surgeries for complicated retinal detachment, PVR and diabetic retinopathy;
• -23G/25G minimally invasive vitrectomy;
